QUEER BODY POSITIVE ART
Festival of Sensations is a queer feminist festival of body positivity, that will take place 26-28 August 2022 in Hainburg an der Donau, Austria
Our immersive queer art experience invites you to celebrate all your five senses (sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch). A wide variety of queer artists and workshop facilitators from all over Europe will create participatory spaces of experience that are more necessary than ever. The guests can not only watch performances, talks, art and theater but can also– become artistically active themselves.
Sensations
About us
Festival of Sensations is officially run by the non-profit art and culture association "Loslassen" in english “Letting Go”. Conceived by the organizing team of several events (The Parallel Universe, The Intimate Revolution, Lighthouse Festival) and with renowned partner associations ( Akademie für Achtsamkeit und Intimität, Kopf Hoch ), the event connects sustainability, art and the queer community. Now they want to combine their knowledge and commitment and implement this unique concept.
Concept
The Festival of Sensations was created out of the desire to give queer expression a platform, and to put it in the center instead of just on the sidelines. We strive to provide a safeR space for sensual development, physical expression and create ideal conditions through our diverse program, which is both participatory and just invites you to watch and enjoy. Queer art is to be celebrated and the network strengthened. Together instead of alone and in the fresh air instead of on the internet.
Facilitator
We invited diverse queer artists from all over Europe will create participatory experiential spaces that are more necessary than ever. Numerous workshops, performances & theater productions, installations, live music, DJ sets, a costume corner, film screenings, talks and discussions will bring together the themes of sensuality, sexuality, gender, utopia, love and connection within this festival.

- More than 40 queer musicians, artists, workshop facilitators and performers from all over Europe
- A big tent for more intimate and experimental workshops
- Wholesome vegan-friendly food cooked by the team of tisch.wien
- Our drag performers and hosts HP & Alice Moe leading through the program

- Two stages for theater, performances and live music
- Three individual workshop spaces
- An art space to see and do art
- Several chillout areas including a unique hand-made treehouse with ambient music
- A mindfulness artwalk through the forest & natural preserve
