Playfight  + objectification

workshop & a participatory art installation

Playfight

By getting in contact with our opponent´s power we get into contact with our own strength. It is an encounter between dominance and dance in which we search for our own unique expression of power and perseverance. The process will be induced by specific exercises around the various aspects of physical contact: boundaries, settingintention, lead/follow.
In the second part of the workshop we challenge each other in an one-on-one confrontation in the middle of attentive spectators.
This is an intense and unique opportunity to share our vulnerability, dedication and beauty.

Objectification – a Social Sculpture  (Workshop)

A combination of performance art and encounter group. A conjunction of constellation work and installation art. A playground to explore feelings, sensations and manifestations of power and empowerment.
In a radically non-dualistic manner we approach objectification as a source of bliss and oneness.

As Objects we are free of responsiveness. We can focus on the sensations and emotions coming up in our speachless bodies, fully focusing on our physical presence. As Objects we are self-contained.
We will be shifted and handled with care  while fully diving into the joy of solid passivity and judgefree perception.

Somatic Exercises will warm us up for this experience of collective creativity. Tools of Consent will help us to achieve the ease we need to play lightheartedly. Different matereals will provide inspiration.

Finally we will open the lab for improvisation and see what creations emerge from  becoming / handling a human object.

Meditation

stretching exercises for your consciousness
open eye meditation • 35min • no previous knowledge necessary

about the workshops:

We practice a combination of Integral Meditation and Awakening Interbeing: an unusual, wide-angle-like attentiveness that on the one hand focuses us, and at the same time leads us into the entire fullness and complexity of all sensory perceptions, thoughts and feelings.

Paradoxically, relaxation sets in! This method of mindfulness trains the ability to consciously perceive on several levels at the same time, and to observe oneself during this perception. With a little practice, it leads to a clear and alert openness that can be applied in any everyday situation.

Tentacular Tenderness

workshop

Marin Marie is a white dyadic FtX living with chronic illness. They works as a multitasking artist, social worker, intersectional activist, energetic healer, sexological bodyworker and sexpositive workshops facilitator.

about the workshops:

🐙Tentacular Tenderness is a collective sensual exploration, deeply rooted into what is here and now. It invites you to let your sensual self expand beyond the usual one-to-one romantic setting.

🙈Here, with eyes closed, we are connecting to our intuitions and deeper selves, and start a collective journey into touch, sound and smell.

🐝The workshop will start by a welcoming ritual followed by embodied consent games, in which you will gather and practise physical consent tools which will be used althrough the next exploration part.

🐌Partial nudity will be welcome, and clothes on as well: some creatures wear fur, other don’t! Though, all beings that night will keep panties on, and we have a no-hand-in-panties rule 🍑

🐍Arousal, sensual and sexual expressions will be welcomed, within this frame and with consent, as well as any other kind of feelings and emotions. Let the group welcome you as you are✨

🐠As you dress up comfortably for movement, chose your textures! We are embarking on the Vessel Of Senses and will dive into a luxuriant landscape. Wether your journey will take you to become one limb of an underwater creature, an old crab crawling on top of it, the edge of a growing cliff, or a fire planet rotating around them, come with curiosity to meet yourself anew in this soft and creative realm of sensuality.

🐣Beginners welcome!

He also performs as a singer, songwriter, actor, puppeteer and dancer, and facilitates workshops in the areas of Consent, Sex and Body Positivity.

about the workshops:

Playfight: We use playful fighting as a sensual and embodied means to discover and honestly express ourselves. In the ritualized fights witnessed by the circle, we enjoy consensual physical contact in (mostly) one-on-one confrontations on mattresses/mats. With group sizes of about 14-25 participants, the group forms a protective ring. In our encounters, we can play and experiment with gender representation and the expansion of social agency. In this way, we aim to promote participation within our communities by practicing noticing our boundaries and communicating clearly.

Sensual Yoga: We open a space to enjoy and explore the body, mind, voice, and breath. Join us on a sensual journey through asana (body postures), pranayama (breathwork), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration of the mind), dhyana (meditation) until we reach moments of samadhi (a state of joyful or blissful calm).

workshop

Simon Magnus is a movement practitioner who specialises in encouraging individuals to connect more deeply with their bodies and their own emotional realities.

He has been connected with tantra and other conscious sexuality practices for a number of years alongside a training in somatic trauma work and improvisational theatre.

He has worked creating transformational arts events in the UK and across Europe for the past 15 years. He has worked around the world helping people connect intimately with themselves and others. My participants are diverse; from children to those living with acute mental health issues, clowns to office workers in full suits and ties. For him it is super important to create brave spaces where risks can be taken by participants within their own boundaries and choice.

about the workshops:

What does it mean to be playfully intimate? Open up to your playful nature and use it to discover moments of intimacy with yourself and others. Play is a fundamental part of what makes us human; it’s how we learn, how we connect and how we deepen our relationships. It doesn’t matter if you feel playful every day or if you haven’t played since you were a kid, this is for everyone. We start in a gentle way that allows you to participate at your own pace, to discover your playful self.

Bondage trough*feeling

workshop

Julia is an artist (Trans Arts, Critical Studies), cultural mediator and currently in training under supervision to become a mediator, relationship and sexual counselor (ÖAGG, ÖGS). She is passionate about the diversity of possibilities for intimate encounters and the experience of closeness, which she continues to explore in a vibrant research practice.

Joanna is a media artist, performer, dancer. She graduated from the University of Applied Arts (Transmedia Arts), Sexological Basics at ÖGS, learned the Art of Clowning and has an extensive research and practice in Conscious Sexuality/ Concious Sexuality.

Since 2019 we have been working together as an interdisciplinary collective true feeling. Together we explore the emancipatory potential of interpersonal contact. Can the experience of physical, as well as emotional closeness, intimacy, touchability and consensus be experienced as a rebellion against the patriarchy that is maintained by the repression of named issues on the one hand and their commercial exploitation and corruption on the other? We are enthusiastic about the development of mental and real shelters through the work with feelings. In doing so, we always act as artists and culturally creative women*. The central theme is feeling one’s own limits and positions. Emancipatory touch happens on this border with a living: YES, absolutely!

about the workshops:

Bondage is bonding – or ropes connect. Not only through knots, but through feeling. It can be pleasurable, funny, sad, deeply relaxing, maybe healing – or boring.

Everything is welcome – it’s about liveliness, diversity and curiosity. In this workshop, we experience bonding with and without rope. What does contact need? When is (somatic) touch good and safe?

After a short introduction to bondage, SafeUse and consent, we get to know each other and rope. Nobody will leave without a gift. It will be an encounter with ourselves, the others* and rope. This workshop is developed and held by true feeling (www.truefeeling.at), an artist and bodywork collective exploring questions of intimacy and sexuality, somatic contact and touch.

“We are enthusiast about the possibilities of creating mental and embodied safer spaces by working with emotions and feeling. We aim to provide methods and paths, that support the ability for self-determined encounter and touch led by a vital: YES, please!”

SHAMELESS

– Performance by Damien Thorn und Aaron

Born in the ‚City of Whores‘ the legendary children of Innana are coming back to once again show, introduce, explain and make your mind clear about the subject which is most marginalised and misunderstood – sxwork. Francis the shameless whore will take you on journey through the life of a sxworker – a political statement. In addition there will be a short ride through the „whorearchy“ (hierarchie of sxwork), showing the diversity of the sx industry but also making the point clear that there should’t be something like a whorearchy. Sxwork is diverse, just as sxuality is. Every field of sxwork has their own requirements, just like every sx worker has their own unique skills. Its important that the priviledged sx workers solidarize themselves with all the workers, to end stigmatization, to normalize doing sxwork, to help appreaciate it.

Shortly after the performance you will have the chance to ask sxwork related questions.

Lisa (she/they) studied costume design and used to work in film and media before discovering her love for self-awareness, body positivity/neutrality and smashing the patriarchy. She is a passionate dancer, a curious self explorer and a committed creator of safer spaces for people to be themselves in. She truly believes that all bodies are beautiful, and that consent and boundaries make the world a better place. She likes to incorporate both in her workshops which she teaches in different communities and fields.

about the workshops:

Life Drawing for every body

Unleash your inner artist and/or exhibitionist in this life drawing workshop. Perfectionism is a highly praised good these days, well… fuck that! Let´s be imperfect together and give it a go anyway. This workshop combines body-positivity, selflove and creativity. We will enjoy the intimacy and vulnerability of drawing (and being drawn if we choose to pose) and celebrate each other in all our naked and creative glory. All bodies, artistic capabilities and confidence levels welcome! No experience needed, just curiosity!

Coming home to the body

Before getting sexy and sensual with another body (or more bodies) there is a need to get in contact with our own body. A body that has been socialized to hate certain parts about it. A body that is constantly judged by everything it isn´t or can´t do instead of how capable and glorious it is. A body that might have learned to always say yes in fear of being rejected or in order to please others. A body that instead of enjoying all the fun that (sexual) interactions can bring, focuses on how it is perceived. In this workshop, we will try to strip away the need to be seen a certain way and start seeing each other through the curious eyes we used to see the world with as children. Together we´ll explore our perfect imperfections and get comfortable being naked around each other while focusing on the relationship we have with our own body.

All bodies welcome! Bring a robe/kimono/dressing gown/hammam towel to put on when feeling cold.

Diego Tigrotto (he/she) is the co-founder of the Cultural Association La Tana Libera Tutt*, dedicated to spreading sex-positive values in Rome, through experiential meetings that are based on learnings from Tantra, BDSM, Polyamory, Trans Queer Feminism and Post-Porn paths. He has adopted from the Burning Man Festival the principle of radical expression and wears animal onesies daily. Tigrotto has recently finished a course at the Institute of Clinical Sexology to become a Sex Educator and is traveling to various festivals presenting the Sex Positive Tarot deck.

about the workshop:

Diego Tigrotto is an artivist in Rome and with the help of the tarologist Libera, they created a tarot deck that sheds light on the magic of sexual expression. It contains 80 original works by 35 international artists: 22 Major Arcana, transpositions of the Marseilles tarot, 56 Minor Arcana based on four suits (No Judgment, Consent, Awareness and Pleasure) and two extra cards. The illustrations keep the traditional symbols so the deck can be used for tarot readings. The reading sessions can be individual or for partners and last 5-10 min. To begin, the consultant asks a question about relationships, sex life, emotional or physical issues. Then the cards are shuffled and 3 cards from the deck are chosen. The first represents the current state on the matter, the second the block that could be present and the third a suggestion to unlock the situation. The Sex Positive Tarot do not predict the future. The cards laying on the table can be used as a projection of the experiences of the consultant and bring out aspects that were not clear before, seeing things from another point of view. Using intuition and empathic listening, the reader doesn’t have a directive attitude, to allow the creation of a new awareness together.

Yin & Yang Sunset Yoga

@patriciamacamo (she/her)

Patricia’s journey with yoga started a few years ago due to health issues. Back then it was always sporadic. Everything really started in 2021 with two yoga teacher trainings (Shakti YTT 200H and She Yin YTT 100H). Due to her worries about femininity, self-love and sexuality, she found exactly what she was looking for in these trainings and what she wanted to give to the world, among other things. She is currently in the middle of training as a Sexological Bodyworker (ISB) and Yoni Steaming Practitioner (Vaginal Steaming Austria). Her desire is to see all human beings and our planet earth in their highest nature and at peace.

about the workshop:

Yin & Yang Sunset Yoga Let’s end this beautiful day with some yoga. We start with slow and deep breaths and touch to come into our bodies. After we have practice some movements to warm up our bodies, we do some yin asanas. After this we go into a slow vinyasa flow. At the end we relax in a long and deep shavasana.   Bring your own mat, something to drink and if you need, a cushion to sit on.

Rhonda

being trans in sexpositive spaces

Rhonda is a non-binary woman. She’s tightly rooted in queer intersectional activism on multiple levels. Several queer organizations were co-created with her involvement while she’s also active in others. This enables her a wide network of contacts to reach out to and connect. She creates educational content on several platforms and gives talks and interviews. Poetry Slam is another one of her outlets.

about the workshop:

We live in a world that puts people into boxes, mostly through looking at them. Often this might be a fitting box, sometimes not. Clothes can support to put people into boxes they feel comfortable in – but what if those hints aren’t available? Let’s explore together how trans folks can exist in a sexpositive environment, and what that has to do with social norms and expectations of bodies.

“More Love“: Practice Queer Ethical Non-Monogamy & Toolbox for Emotional Release and Reconnection

Anastasia Ax

Anastasia Ax Lopez

(she/they) is a radio, TV & digital journalist and author. Their passion for new perspectives and stories has led to journalistic research of topics within diversity, human rights and social justice, which she combined with bodywork in her training as a yoga teacher. Both professionally and privately, they explore new ways of living, queer identity, polyamory, trauma sensitivity and transparent communication. She loves to travel, live in communities and read books about personal development.

about the workshop:

“More Love“: Practice Queer Ethical Non-Monogamy Polyamory has changed our (love) lives. Together we want to go beyond conventional boxes: stimulate discussions, share insights and mistakes we have already made and can spare you, practice radical honesty, reflect (hetero)normative ideas, inspire each other to free ourselves from fear-based dependency and really see each other.  Whether it is romantic connection or interpersonal relationships: With the concept of multiple love and open relating, we can create a field of love that is larger and more interwoven with community.  How do we deal with other (potential) partners of the person(s) we love? And what helps when jealousy arises? We bring the most important lessons from years of polyamory, show how we put them into practice every day, handle jealousy and even let compersion arise. It is not about getting rid of  jealousy, but learning to let compersion coexist.  Strengthen your curiosity for ethical non-monogamy! You are welcome alone, as a couple, polycule or in whatever constellations you are. You can be new to this topic or already live/love polyamory.

Please bring to the workshop (if you have): water bottle, something to write, pillow & blanket – for body-based exercises – not sleeping 😉

Alexandra Schopf (she/her) is artist, art & culture manager and paramedic studying medicine.

She finds creativity in life, nature, in further education between art and medicine and interpersonal relationships. Radical honesty, dealing with jealousy and conflict communication and resolution are her heartfelt topics. She prefers to be and work outside all day in the sunshine, exploring the world and still rejoices like a little child every time she sees the ocean.

about the workshop:

Toolbox for Emotional Release and Reconnection How can we learn emotional fluidity and recognize pain and vulnerability? Come and share about your experiences and learn body-based exercises that changed our emotional reactions. We show you how we move our body in ways to release patterns, practice radical and soft honesty, resolve conflicts with our „painbody“, and use meditation and reflection exercises to go deeper into our inner world. We will show you how even difficult topics in (open/poly) relationships can be mastered with the help of a toolbox: a handful of practical, body-based exercises. Implement new tools into your daily life! We designed the workshop that we always searched for: packed with insights and real hands-on-exercises.

Please bring to the workshop (if you have): water bottle, something to write, pillow & blanket – for emotional release – not sleeping 😉

Playfight + Objectification + Transformative Writing

workshop & a participatory art installation

TRANSFORMATIVE WRITING
Writing doesn ́t start with clever thoughts or thoughts at all. It starts
with a body; a body that is curious about it ́s surrounding.
Writing doesn ́t start with words; it starts by listening.

So this workshop is designed as an exchange of life-stories but not sto-
ries to be told from beginning to end but from now to now and person to person.

We will use abstract calligraphy and asemic writing as tools of em-
bodied writing, searching for authentic expressions.

We exchange textwords and attention.

Here we search for the potential to transform each other. by being fully
present with all we are.
The basic topic of this detournament is that which we have lost, missed,
given up in the current crisis and also that which we want to erase
and get rid of dump, ditch and repell to make new space for new ideas,
thought and action.
We might end up in a collective writing – overwriting, copywriting and
transcribing.

meditation

stretching exercises for your consciousness

(open eye meditation / 35min / no previous knowledge necessary)

We practice a combination of Integral Meditation and Awakening Interbeing: an unusual, wide-angle-like attentiveness that on the one hand focuses us, and at the same time leads us into the entire fullness and complexity of all sensory perceptions, thoughts and feelings. Paradoxically, relaxation sets in! This method of mindfulness trains the ability to consciously perceive on several levels at the same time, and to observe oneself during this perception. With a little practice, it leads to a clear and alert openness that can be applied in any everyday situation.

Through their videos, performances, photographs and installations, Mel examines current conundrums of co-existence in a crippling capitalistic systems, and address themes of eroding intimacy and isolation in an increasingly sterile, technological world.[1]
